I know it has been awhile but better late than never. We have been in our First home for a couple months now. It is so nice to have a house a place to make our own. I got a puppy for Christmas his name is Hank and I will post pictures soon. Tom is back working at Trigon the pressure washing job, and he seems to be liking it again. We have been busy so far this year 4 of our close friends are getting married and of course 3 of the weddings are back to back and I managed to somehow be in all 4. Cant wait till the middle of June when it will be all over! Well I guess that really all there is to tell for now I will try to remember to post pictures soon.

Here is the house we are buying, we close on October 8! The house is in Watson behind Live Oak High and Elementary schools. I am so excited to have our own space and get out of our apartment. I love to get rid of unused and unneeded stuff. ooo and cleaning out closets is my favorite. I know I'm weird, but we all have our quirks!
And here is my lovely new kitchen sooooo excited! I'll have countertop space and a place to put my mixer and crock pot and nice tile floors instead of cruddy apartment floors.

This is just another view of the kitchen and it shows the brakfast or dining area and they are leaving the refigerator!

Here is the master it is a good size needs some paint mainly because I don't like the color. There aren't any pictures of the bathroom but it is a decent size and has a huge closet.

How about this yard, we will definitly have to get a lawn mower. At the moment there isn't a deck or anythin but we might add that later.

Snow In Baton Rouge!!! December 11,2008

It really snowed in Baton Rouge I barely believed my own eyes, and not some crappy sleet or anything either this was real bonafide snow that stayed one the ground in some place for a couple days. Driving to work that morning was beautiful and scary all at the same time. Luckily I was not the first on the road. Here are some picture of mine and tom's poor little snowman that didn't last but a day! Sorry these are a little late!

This and the next are of Rebecca and her adorable baby girl Marianna, who got a hold of a twizzler and is going to town.

Back to the zoo sorry a little out of order but here we are on the ancient train at the Baton Rouge zoo, I totally remember there being more to see but hey the kids loved it.

We took the boys to see Mike the tiger before their drive back to San Antonio. We couldn't resist putting Logan's head in Mike's mouth!!

well Hello everyone who reads this which I sure is not many. The holidays are over and a new year has begun. Tom has a new job as maintenance manager at a hotel here in Baton Rouge, so far he is liking it and getting along well with everyone there. I am currently working only one job which is a relief since in December I was working 3, now I have no clue what to do with my free time. There really hasn't been that much going on around here mainly just hanging out with friends and other day to day stuff. I am going to post pictures from when Heather and Rebecca came to visit before thanksgiving I hope ya'll enjoy.

This is Thomas outside our apartment about an hour before the real winds kicked in. as you can see he is having a little trouble standing upright.

This picture depicts the chimney across our back walkway, that flappy thing at the top made much racket throughout the storm, hanging on for dear life by what appeared to be 1 and 1/2 screws through the whole storm! And is still currently hanging on.

This is my poor Buick (Big Bess), even thogh she is not my current mode of transportation I still have great memories and a nostalgic connection to her. This fence apparently had it out for Big Bess because it did not fall on her only once but a second time when Ike made his appearance in Baton Rouge, no where near as damaging but just enough to brake the fence on Big Bess' back again.

And this would be our power line. Yes, it is on a state trooper's car, our neighbor. We mistakenly thought that maybe the state would need the car and we would be among the first get our power back. We were very mistaken, we were actually in the two week block for power restoration, and where did our power line stay? On top of the car!

Ahhh and it is me with a wash cloth fresh out of the icy cooler trying to cool down a couple days after Gustav and before we moved camp to Mom and Dad's and our friends Pat and Amanda because they had power and airconditioning.
